About Us
Kids Acting Up! was founded by actress Jennifer Taylor. Jennifer has worked extensively in Television and Film over the last 18 years and has been teaching kids through classes and workshops since 1999. Click here to view Jennifer's credits on IMDB.

"When I started in this business, modeling as a teenager, I knew absolutely NOTHING!  I knew even less when I started acting.  Nobody holds your hand in this business and tells you what is really up. I had to figure out everything on my own. So when I had the opportunity to begin teaching kids about the business, I wanted to arm them and their parents, about everything good and bad about getting into this line of work." -Jennifer Taylor

Kelly Hare began her acting career in Florida and met Jennifer on the set of a national commercial. They later worked on the movie "The Waterboy" together. Kelly has been on sitcoms and had a recurring role on the NBC soap "Passions". She is also the mother of a daughter who is very active in the business.

"The experience I have gained from working in the business myself is invalueble now that I have a daughter so active in it. It's simply not enough to just be talented. You and your child must realize that this is a business and arm yourselves with that knowledge."-Kelly Hare

Kids Acting Up! Talent Competition
Our Talent Competition was developed to give kids ages 6-18 an opportunity to compete in a positive atmosphere designed to promote their entry into the business of acting.

"I used to join all kinds of competitions; modeling, acting, you name it. I was even 1st Runner Up in Miss Florida USA. I had a great time and met amazing friends who are still in my life! I had some really positive experiences through competing. I wanted to create a contest that is positive, yet realistic. The skills you aquire through this competition will help you at auditions, meetings with agents, and even on set!"
-Jennifer Taylor

Kids Acting Up! Classes

Our classes and private coaching sessions are geared toward giving kids the confidence they need to compete in this business.

We also have classes for kids who don't really want to work as an actor professionally, but who like to be creative and have fun, and want to express themselves while gaining confidence.
